History of Hoots Furs

Hoot's Furs was started in the spring of 1984 as Hoot's Trapping Supplies with lots of help from my dad Joe "Hoot" Gerling & my mom, Marilyn "Lynn" Gerling.  We started out just selling trapping supplies, but quickly became buyers of wild raw furs and deer hides.  We now have expanded to include our own hand-made fur hats, vests, jackets, mittens, and various other fur accessories made from our furs or yours...so check out our shopping menu!  We buy & sell raw furs, deer hides, provide custom tanning services, along with selling quality trapping supplies and our beautiful, custom, hand-made fur garments.  We also deal in deer skin gloves & mittens.  Raw fur handling lessons are always free at Hoot's....Call for an appointment.
